My April Music
...yeah, there are a lot of surprises in this early April, first the ice rain (or whatever they called it), the flu (oh God please, not now), the headache (it hurts me much, almost everyday), the pressure and the jay's effects (oh, not in the mood for studio), the UU ITE (what a government...?), the jobs (hehe, keep occupied though), and of course the music (which will always leads my thought), hmmmm, i kind of feel stress this month, i don't know, maybe i'm just bored, but yeah i'm not so well, a bit sick, so to say, oh...here is a few of album on my playlist, just wanna share (sorry i don't have the link, just a simple and quick review)
Annuals/Sunfold - Wet Zoo (Split EP) (Canvasback Records, 2008), indeed, a very nice recording, five songs full of strings and love, you should check it
Sleepmakeswaves - In Today Already Walks Tomorrow EP (Self Released, 2008), i know that you're agree with me, these Australian mice have become a tiger, one of the best epic post-rock album from last month
Subtle - ExitingARM (Lex Records, 2008), finally, these hip-hop band comes with their new material, not as lovely as Yell&Ice though, very worth hearing
Brethren of The Free Spirit, All Things Are From Him And Through Him And In Him (AudioMER, 2008), james blackshaw and Jozef Van Wissem, what a hardcore duo, guitar and flute, a lovely combination for drone and psych
Lakes Of Russia - Stars Decorate The Fire (Afterdark Records, 2008), still, an Australian post-rock/ambient, a solo project from Jake McGinn with guest collaborators here and there, a dramatic, epic, brittle, glimmering melodies
Styrofoam - A Thousand Words (Nettwerk, 2008), soloist with lots of collaboration, an indie electronic album, good for your ears
French Kicks - Swimming (Vagrant Records, 2008), do you remember them and indie garage rock who turns into pop, a nice and rare release from an emo-like records, rich in sound with finger snaps and hands clap, light and unpretentious sound, hope you'll like it
